SBDC aims to assist foreign and local companies in their steps toward new markets. We assist Bulgarian companies as well as foreign firms who want to increase their business in Bulgaria and the Balkan region.

Government and Institutional Support
In many transforming and developing countries the structures and policies for Private Sector Development were established in circumstances of excessive protection and state control. Today these structures are badly adapted to the requirements of a strong and dynamic market economy, thereby impeding economic development. We assist government bodies and institutions in eliminating these weaknesses and rebuilding new structures conducive to the development of an efficient and competitive economy.

SBDC staff has worked in Government and Institutional Support Projects in Germany, Poland Morocco, Bulgaria, Albania and Egypt. Recently SBDC completed a project financed by the EU and the Catalonian Government in Egypt

SBDC is interested in a co-operation with other consultancy firms, especially in the framework of upcoming opportunities by donors like EU, EBRD, World Bank, UNDP, or bilateral development agencies. We are especially interested in future EU (Europeaid) framework contracts.
